Trabajoen_ is an online platform in Colombia that connects companies with professionals and experts on digital products. Basically a pool of offers for professionals in fields like UI/UX design, digital development, online marketing, and digital strategy. Here my job consisted on the art direction and illustration for their explainer video.
Motion graphics is one of the best tools to explain complex ideas in a simple, compelling and catchy way. It helps initiatives like Trabajoen_ to connect better with their audience.
As any video production, in Motion graphics the storyboard phase is key.It helps to structure the visuals by connecting them with the script. Also helps to imagine which visual elements will be part of the final video.
One of the challenges for this project was the character design. We wanted to show all the different professional-profiles the platform reaches (around 32). For that I created a basic geometric construction, which could be easily adapt to the profiles, in a female and male version.
