OndadeMar is a Colombian luxury swimwear brand with more than 20 years on the market. I was in charge of the visual identity development for a couple of their collections: Boheme & Oasis.
For both collections, the typographic composition was the main source of identity. It was the foundation across all communication channels (online and offline).
The inspiration for Boheme came from the free spirit of the bohemian lifestyle and unconventional beauty. Following the adventurous and traveler style whose ideals of life are based on freedom. That inspiration reflects in the usage of the textile patterns as a unifying visual element.
Oasis arose intending to preserve the connection with mother nature. The textile patterns, photoshoots, and brand aesthetics have one aim: to reflect that despite the rapid lifestyle of contemporary times, having a pause to contemplate nature's beauty is and will be meaningful.
