Have you ever wondered how a young person originary from the Colombian Pacific experiences menstruation? UNICEF Colombia did it in one of their research projects, it shoes how "Inadequate Menstrual Hygiene Management can affect the health, dignity and privacy of millions of girls and women on a daily basis... reinforces stigmas and forms of exclusion and discrimination or even gender-based violence against girls and adolescents".
Together with Amazink studio and the art direction of the great Martha Perea , we developed a handbook and an infographics poster to communicate the findings of that research in a clear way. Illustrating topics that are still taboo is a challenge I always enjoy.
